Well done to the eleven Scouts who achieved their Stage 5 Emergency Aid badge! Read what Pete has to say about the course below:

On Sunday 15th November 2015 a number of our Scouts started work on the revised Emergency Aid Staged Activity Badge. This was followed by a second session on Sunday 22nd November 2015 where we were joined by a few Scouts from 1st Catisfield. All that attended completed the highest stage possible (Stage 5) in Emergency Aid.

This places our 8 Scouts and the 3 Scouts from 1st Catisfield in the unique position of being the first in Fareham East District (and some of the first Scouts nationally!) to achieve the revised Stage 5 Activity Badge in Emergency Aid.

They have all learnt lots of useful skills about what to do should they find themselves in various emergency situations requiring first aid. As this promotional video from SCOUTS South Africa shows, you never know when these skills maybe required.
