Summer Camp 2013 Brownsea Island

Let me driveIn 2013 we went to Brownsea Island, the birthplace of Scouting, for our Summer Camp. 

This year we were once again joined by our friends from 2nd Fareham, who shared in all our adventures throughout the week. We were also joined by both Cub Packs from 3rd Portchester for a few days midweek. Whilst there we had deer, peafowl and ducklings all wandering about our campsite, as we in turn explored their island home. 

As we had such good conditions we spent most of our time on the water, kayaking, sailing, pulling, canoeing and powerboating. A selection of pictures of our adventures can be seen in the slideshow and David Gray's (Assistant Scout Leader at 2nd Fareham) photos of the week can be seen here
